Add extra rebar in rebar set & remove witness line tick mark

Hello.

I have two separate questions regarding the new rebar features in Revit 2022.

1. It's nice to finally be able to adjust or remove individual rebars in a rebar group, but why is it not possible to add individual rebars?

2. When I remove or adjust the position of a single rebar in a rebar set, the dimension line insists on having a tick (see red circles on attached image) where the center distance now is different from the rest of the bars in the group. Is there a way to turn this off? I'm only interested in having the ticks at the edges of the group and the bar that is shown in the plan view. 2021-07-01 13_42_22-Window.png

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately not. This is related to the behavior of dimensions, that are also used inside the MRA.

The dimension evaluates the equal spaces and doesn't add tick between them. When it encounters spaces with different spacing, it adds ticks.

You can see the same behavior if you dimension two sets of different spacing, placed one next to the other.

Maybe you can post this to Revit Ideas, related to rebar and MRA, so others can vote for it.

Thank you for the quick reply, Ovidiu.

I will make sure to post this in Revit ideas then. Hopefully they can implement this for the next version.
