Good morning can and one advise me how to get points one and two locked onto the geometry shown so I can extend component from start to end revit ref points.JPG

I am not sure I totally understand what you are trying to do. Are you placing adaptive points and want something to go from one point to the other one? Can you post your family?

you should link the geometry to the points.

from "modify" tab click align then select the first point then the edge of the geometry. A lock will appear, lock it.

Do the same on the other side.

Are you trying to create a geometry between the two points? If so:

- select the points and click spline through points icon to create a line
- place another point in that line, select that point and turn of its planes
- draw a profile on the cross plane of that point
- select the profile and the line-through points and create form
