3 beams to column connection options

Hello everyone,

[please see attached images first: q1: left side, q2: right side, q3: overall axon]

I am trying to configure out what is the best way to connect the (red coloured) beams to this column. Would the use of an extra plate make sense here or should I just use simple clip angles?

I am no structural engineer (just an architect) so any piece of advice might be useful.

Cheers!

depending on what type of connection is needed for structural purposes you could use end plate connections or fin plate connections, i cant remember the last time we used clip angle connections

check the design drawings and see what is the connection type,

the man who decide what is the best connection type is the structural designer based on structural analysis
