Why isnt gemoerty cutting

I have this drain that goes underground, and I want to create punchouts for pipe to go through. I create a void extrusion on the right side of the drain and it cut just fine turned on Cut Geometry in the properties tab. But when I created another void extrusion on the left side it doesn't cut and I turned on Cut Geometry. I also don't want to use the cut command because I want to be able to turn the cuts on and off when I import it into my project

Hi @ttaguchiZ8LAH
Go to Modify and click cut then select the void and then the solid Element.
It happens if you create first as solid and then switch to void.you have to do it manually

When I do it manually, will I still be able to set the void as a parameter and be able to turn it on and off? I want to be able to create the hole in the drain on specific side when I have it in my project.

yes you can do it

I recommend to do all these steps before applying the cut,so the void can be easily seen and can be selected. After this use the tool i mentioned (cut)
