Why does this happen to my elevation tag but all other tags orient correctly?

See the picture for explanation of the issue.

 

The elevation tag is always oriented 180 degrees opposite on vertical to the other tags for fabrication parts. Changing the angle to 270 from 90° does nothing. This is super irritating and I don't see any difference in the tags.

This setting below will always orient the label to be readable from the bottom or right side of the view, so never upside down or read from the left side:

This setting will rotate the tag to align along the tagged component:

Both of the tags have the exact same settings selected. Yet they still behave this way

Here you go. I hope it's something just dumb, but I can't figure it out. 

 

One orients correctly the other doesn't and they are both MEp Fabrication tags with simple text.

It seems to be different font that is causing the problem.

The elevation tag is Arial and works correctly, the Size tag is @Arial Unicode MS and rotates incorrectly.

I changed the Size tag to Arial and it then works the same as the elevation tag.
