When exporting gbXML no file is created

I have created spaces in my drawing and assigned those spaces to a zone. After doing this I try to export a gbXML file into my project folder and Revit acts like it is exporting the file. Once it is finished I check the folder where I exported it to but I see no evidence of an .XML file.

I had the same problem but I don't have rooms because I'm working from a mechanical model with the architectural linked in. I have created spaces and even went through to select each space type. I don't trust Revit's load calculations yet so I want to export to gbxml for Trace.

Where are you trying to save it to?  We had issue in windows 10 and users saving to the root c drive.  It goes through like its working but nothing is shown.  Apparently windows 10 does not allow users to save in this location.

Thank you for the response. That is actually what I tried about 5 minutes after my post. I had been trying to save it to our server which wasn't working. We have also been having issues with our central files being mirrored between offices when we started using 2017 which is why I decided to try saving locally.

I know the server mirroring is an issue for another thread but we use Panzura and haven't had any problems with the central file being mirrored with DNS until 2017 and now we're having the same issue for 2016. It works just fine on 2015 so Autodesk must have changed something in their coding to push people towards using A360 and paying for cloud storage space.

I had the same issue trying to save an .xml file to my server. Revit goes through the motions, but no file is produced. I could save to my desktop, so that's what I'm doing.
