I have an extrusion with mounting holes at each end. When I change the length, how do I lock the mounting holes to move with the extrusion?

Constrain the hole centerline ref with a locked dimension to the end ref plane.

I could not get a snap on the void to add a dimension or anything that I usually use

How did you create the void?

- If it is modeled as a void extrusion in the same family then edit the sketch, select the circle, show center point, constrain the center point to the end plane with a dimension and lock it.

- If he void is a separate face based family then you should be able to place the dimension from its reference plane to the end plane and lock.
