Visual Style not working

Hi all,
I am facing an issue with visual style. When the visual of an object is "Realistic" the grilles are visible, if I change the visual to wireframe, shaded, hidden, grilles are not visible. Same issues in Floor plan as well. I am attaching the 

reference images and .rfa here. Thanks in advance!!

The grills you see is a material, not geometry and therefore not visible in wireframe mode.

This is often done to keep the families as efficient as possible

Yes, Agree. So material will not work in shaded view as well? Pls suggest some way to sort this.

No the material as shown on the graphics tab of the material is only visible in the realistic view.

When you want to see something in a shaded view you could try something with a pattern on the graphics tab of the material.

Otherwise would be to add geometry to the family.
