Views not found on project browser

In the Worksets window and checking Views only, I find several floor, ceiling and section views that I cannot find on the project browser.

Under browser organization there is no filter and when create new views with same name there is no duplicate view error and new ones appear beside old ones in Worksets list.

Has anyone seen this happen before and know how to get rid of them?

Hello @Anonymous,

I have not come across this issue before.

Which version of Revit are you using?   Are any of these views owned by other users?

Can you post a screenshot?  Thank you.

If your browser organization isn't filtering them by "not on sheets" or something similar, my best guess is that the views were created and then deleted.  So the worksets are still there, but the views aren't.  Make sure no other users are in the model, detach and audit, then save over the original central with your detached copy - that should remove the worksets.  If that doesn't do it, try using purge unused but go through the list and uncheck everything you want to keep.

If neither of these work, go home and watch the Looney Tunes episode with the gremlin.

Hello, Using R16 R2 Update5. See attached from Worksets Views list and project browser. The three FP views show up on one, but not the other. No filter on the project browser, just group by family. Detached from central so I own everything. Tried auditing, deleting almost all views, all sheets, purge, save as new central. Still can't get rid of them.

Try this:  Collaborate > Workset > check the "Views" box > select and delete the ones you don't want

If that doesn't work, you're probably just stuck with them.  If they're just extra worksets it probably won't hurt you.

Thanks for the ideas, no filter, went through the list saved as new central, still here. Ghosts in the DB.

Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-... That's all, folks.

Made them editable, delete button still greyed out. Guess I'm stuck with them for this project, thanks.

Hi @Anonymous-

Can you try updating 2016 to Update 7 for R2?  If this issue is still occurring, can you post the model?  If it's too large, May I contact you to get the model?

Thank you.
