URGENT - Space exceed the roof bounding element

Hello guys,

I have an issue that it seems like it gives me and to architects big headaches.

I'm pretty new in using Revit, but I'm learning more everyday.

My problem is that I don't know why my space exceed the roof. The arhitecture is .rvt and the roof has the room bounding option checked.

Tried to deactivate and active the Area & Volume Calculation, Deleted an reposition the space dozens of time, played with the upper limit, with the offset limit ... what can I do?

I need this because we want to calculate the heat/cool load and we need the roof as a architectural element (so we can add G / U Values)

Is the roof in a linked model and if so is the LINK set as room bounding?

Yes and yes. I have already spaces, as you can see in the attachment of the first post. The problem is that at the last level, the space doesn't clip to the roof.

I have the architecture as link, the roof (from the architecture link) is a room bounding element (having checked the "Room bounding" option).

Upload your model and the linked model please.

Unfortunately I can't do that because my model + architectural model is around 3GB and second we have a NDA on the project and we are still not allowed to share.

But I might found something. The federation strategy of architecture is based on 2 models (1 with existing situation and 1 with proposed situation -> the project being a "Refresh" of an existing building). The roof is in one model and the wall that suppose to join with roof is in the other model. Can be this something that doesn't allow the space to be created properly?

To be honest I've never tried that before and its not a usual workflow.

The correct way to model the architecture would be to use phases or design options rather than separate models.

I think you also have some other issues with spaces not filling properly:
