Update of linked models generate error - Revit 2024.2

Hi,

I have an electrical model where the architectural model is linked. When I try to update the architectural model, it either doesn't update or sometimes shows an error prompting me to close Revit. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have suggestions for resolving it?

When you say "update", do you mean reloading the link from the new file

or do you mean updating to a new version?

The issue is that I have architectural models linked in my electrical
systems file. The architectural model changes frequently as the project
progresses, and I should see these updates in the linked model. However,
when I try to reload, the changes made in the architectural model are not
visible. Additionally, when I attempt to reload from and select the file
(always the same one), I receive an error that causes Revit to close.

No image attached. You need to come to the forum to post it.

More details, please. Is this a cloud project with the architect working live on the linked model?

Are you receiving new files that you use to update the previous file?

Traslation of error message:

A serious Revit error has occurred. The current action could not be completed.

It is recommended that you save your work to a new file and run tests in the latest version of Revit. Would you like to save a recovery file?

Hello,

Please check with the architecture team if they have upgraded the file to a newer version.
