trouble shooting with elevation

I,m doing a project right now , so inserted a family in to the project then after place the component in work plane, Here my problem is the inserted component  doesn't take the offset value in family instances elevation is clouded what we do...??

select the edit type button on the properties palette see if it lets you make adjustments there.

if not select the family and go into the Edit Family window look at an elevation view in the family editor and see where the sink is being referenced from

Can you make ensure the Revit family template shall set to Level based template instead Generic template

 

Generic templates are not support to set offset values
