hello all,
is there any standard for modeling in revit
ex. we can model 2000 m^2 in one day (8 hours/day)
how can make an exact estimation for modeling
i am an engineer and i am asked to give an estimation for project before modeling .
and what are factors should i consider to make a reasonable estimation ??
thanks in advaced

I have no idea what it means to be able to "model 2000 m^2 in one day", but I do have to give project estimates from time to time.
First thing: There is no such thing as an "exact estimate". Anyone demanding one is full of it 😉
Second thing: Always try to include time (fluff factor) for the unexpected to happen. Whether that's unanticipated changes, hardware failures, software issues, etc.
Other than that, try to use a modeling job you've already completed as a base line if you can find similarities between the one you're currently estimating for and one you've completed. Then, include the "fluff factor" in a final number that is a bit higher than what you really anticipate it taking to complete the model and stick to that number. (if, in the future, things happen that make it so you can't stick to that final number -- such as "scope creep" -- document those things and use that list to defend yourself/justify your overages)
*edit* - for the "second thing" above, clearly state what your estimate covers. Such as "This estimate of time required includes a first-run model of this specific scope", etc (depending on how formal you need to get with your estimate)
