Text Issue

Hi, 

Can anyone help me with this text issue please. When creating an annotation I make sure I center everything perfectly but when I rotate my new family with text inside it un centres the text. I also have a problem that my text will not stay readable (bottom Image) I want my text to be readable at all times, does anyone know how to fix this?

The "keep readable" setting shows the text as readable from the bottom of the page when the element is rotated 0 or 180 degrees and from the right edge of the page when rotated 90 or 270 degrees. Your last image shows this working correctly.

thanks for the reply, how would you go about making the text in the bottom left symbol appear straight and not 90 degrees.

Are these Generic Annotation symbols being placed in a family (like a outlet symbol in Receptacle family)?

Keep Readable is different from Keep Horizontal. both rotations your show in your screen captures are technically "Readable" (there not backwards or upside-down). Unfortunately there isn't a "Keep Horizontal" option for text/labels in a family. There is a Rotate With Component, for the Tag as a whole, that will keep the tag horizontal when tagging a rotated element. But I don't think that is what your looking for 😁.
