System Classification 'Other' Missing in New Templates

When i create a new template file (or a new project without a template file for that matter) the pipe system classification 'Other' no longer appears.  It exists in templates that i created on previous occasions..

Anyone have any idea why this might be or what i have done wrong?  I understand that the system classifications are hardwired into Revit's code, so not sure how i could have deleted it accidentally.

Thanks in advance,

Jim

Hello,

I had something similar in the past, on Revit 2014, some system family going away.

My suggestion is to start a new file and transfer your settings...

I was nervous to use the transfer settings function; the reason that i was starting a new template from scratch was that my previous template was throwing up a corrupt element error, and i didn't want to chance carrying over that problem.

In an y case, i think that i have solved the problem now.  When starting the new template i had been selecting the 'none' option from the dropdown menu rather than using Revit's MEchanical/Architectural/Construction template starting points.  If using the 'none' option to create a template then you don't get some families or system classifications.

I started again using the 'Mechanical' option when creating the template and the 'Other' system clarification reappeared.

Thanks for your help anyway!
