Spaces in default zone

Hi

I am new to REVIT and my first post.

On this page it is stated that "Spaces that remain in the Default zone are not included in heating and cooling loads calculations", while on this page it is stated "However, spaces that remain in the Default zone are included in heating and cooling loads calculations."

What is true?
