Shared parameter doesn't show up in tag

This worked in previous versions of Revit. I created a shared parameter. Added it to lighting fixtures. Created a custom lighting fixture tag using the shared parameter and the tag would update with the value when placed.

So, why isn't it working now?

The model which you uploaded does not contain any lighting fixture families.

Please upload the model in which you are trying to tag lighting fixtures or upload one of the lighting fixture families which you are trying to tag.

OK, I created a zip file which should include the project, the tag family, and the steps I went through to add the tag to the project and families.

As far as I can tell the shared parameter in your tag is not the same shared parameter which is in your lighting fixture, even though they have the same name.

I opened one of your lighting fixture families, exported the Lighting Zone parameter to a temporary shared parameter file then imported that parameter into your tag family to replace the one which is there, reloaded the tag family into your project and it then works okay.

So, to repeat, the shared parameter has to be the same shared parameter in both the tag and the fixture family (not just parameters which have the same name).
