Selection not working

 All,

See attached. I used to be able to select multiple items with a selection box, go to properties & select the item I want thus making all the other items shut off. I cannot do this anymore & am wondering what happened. Any ideas??

Thank you ennujozlagam but unfortunatrly that is not it. None of the items are pinned. Can you try to duplicate what I am trying to do & see if it works for you?

Hello,

Have you changed your view range?

Sometimes if the components are outside of the view range but within the view depth, you can see but can´t select.

If these itens are in a linked model, maybe checking the selection of links may work.

 Fabiasato,

As stated above, none of the items are pinned!, none of the items are links!, I am able to select them, that is not the issue. The issue is that I was able to go to properties, change from multiple items to one item & all the other selected items would not be selected thus being able to edit the one I wanted.

In closing the problem is not selecting it is CONFINING, Thanks

OK, I understood you.

I personally use the filter command in the ribbon to do it,I just tested on Revit 2016 and it seems to works ok, you can change the properties but not filter the selection.
