Selecting Associated Tags

It is possible to select the host object from a tag. Cool feature and I use it frequently but it seems that one cannot select the associated tag(s) from a host object.

When changing the offset of an object (and maybe other properties too) the tag in a plan view for that object will often become displaced from it's location. Sometimes it goes flying off into Never Never Land and can require jumping through a number of hoops to find it.

I'd like to be able to select an object and then select the tag(s) associated with it. Is it possible?

does it have anything to do with using the leader function ofthe tag?

have you noticed if when a leader is used it responds differently than if no leader is used?

Huh?

Tags have been doing this since Revit 2010 when I started using Revit. OOTB tags, custom tags, it doesn't matter. Most of my tags do not have leaders but I don't think that matters either.

I want to select any associated tags of a particular object like you can do the reverse.

I was curious, and found out it does not matter "with Leader or without Leader"

maybe throw this to the IDEA group.
