Sections are not appearing

I know that this problems seems to be simple, but i tried all the common procedure and Trial & error that i know.

The section line are not appearing in the views that are already made, but if you create a new view it will appears.

i Tried the following:

- Checked Visibility dialog (annotation category, filers, workset)

- Hide at Scale option.

- Reveal hidden elements.

- Checked View template.

i attached the model for making it easier to trace the problem.

The model you have uploaded is still linked to central model. Need to detach again and relinquish all views, worksets, etc...

yeah may be i forgot to relinquish all before saving. You can open it as detach in order to be able to edit what you want.

Unfortunately I am not able to open file ( since I'm working on Revit 2016).

Could you please upload some snapshot, e.g for floor plan you are working in, click on section which is visible on floor plan. I will check their properties.

I can see the sections in the one floor plan. The floor plan ending in LTG, how did you create that view?

I got it open and when I create a new view like you described the sections are showing up fine... which level were you having issues with? My guess would be that for some reason the extents of the section being placed were below or above the floor you were placing it on so it wouldnt show up. To fix that go into the section via the browser and extend the view to the floor you want and it should show up on the plan view then. 

If that doesnt work if you can provide some more details about where you were having the problem ill look at it more closely 🙂

The problem in the old created views, i left one of them as an example (ROOF FLOOR LEVEL_FFL) I cannot show the section in any old views but when i create a new view it works normally.

I believe the extent of the section in its properties works horizontal only no impact on the vertical extents. I try it but nothing new.

Those views i created them with the normal procedure and the sections appears in them. My problem at the old views like (ROOF FLOOR LEVEL_FFL) i cannot show the section at them.

@mohammed-fawzy  I have downloaded your file and I believe that your project is suffering from an issue related to Revit 2017 and the wire command.  in your file if you go to your phasing dialog box there are no phases listed (see image) on the old views your views show phasing parameters but new views do not. I believe this is causing confusion within Revit and not allowing it to behave correctly for section and other items.

You have a very valuable point. I used the  Repair tool by upgrading the model to Revit 2019 and it automatically gave me the warning message of the Phase problem (check attached) and phases are now exist in the model. but still after update repair & update i cannot shown the old sections in the new plan views or draw a new section (and appears) in the old plan view.

It seems it is an issue with Revit 2017 as you mentioned. Thanks for your care and help.
