@silviobrother Hi

You simply have to assign the angle parameter on the nested geometry..as I've did in above. All others are controlled in your formula.

Updated rfa attached.

Hi Secttor, first of all thank you for the answer, but if you take a close look in the original file, the position of M2017_Lenscap is different in the original file from my file, in a second situation in the side view exist a reference line which if I drag it up or down  the M2017_Lenscap is moving in that direction (see original file), which in my file that thing is not happening. The Lenscap object is created in the same position and view like in the original file.  Could you please give me a solution to that situation also?  Another situation is as follow: if I change the angle from 30 to 180 and then from 180 to 0 the lenscap is moving to the left so in this case the update file does not make the thinks I want to do.

Thank you.

Thank you arjay.eco for your feedback, but what I want is to make the same family as the original one, no other formula will be added or changed of the formula and in the same situation performing and accomplish the same family as the original file. The only think which I don`t understood is how that cap is rotting and where is blocked or at what reference line is attached that cap.

@silviobrotherOf course, I have no secrets. Smiley Wink

The ideea is to constrain the ref-line from the cap. with the  point from the main-body.

Another ideea was to rotate only the void..which makes the difference. Easier? Probably..but now we have the first solution.

Hope it helps!
