Rotating Part using Family Types

Hello,

I am relatively new at Revit MEP, and I have been tasked to make a Revit 2019 model of a Backwater flap valve, whereas I am required to create an overall model of the part, with a segment which can act as a flap which can rotate about a point using Family Types. (The dimensions of the part can be seen in the below image)

I have looked a heap of different posts and sites, however nothing seems to work.

If it isn't possible to rotate the Flap Valve individually through using Family Valves, could anyone recommend a simple method to achieve the same result.

As I alluded to in your other post. It sounds like you are talking about the 2D symbol. Rather than trying to rotate the line, use two lines and utilize yes/no parameters for visibility.
