Room bounding in a dormer

Hi,

I would like to calculate the living area of the building with dormers. I have seen that this problem has already been discussed, but no solution has been found. ( https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-bim-360-deutsch/wie-eine-raumbegrenzung-in-revit-im-gauben-nich... , https://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=25188 )
I have the problem that the space under the dormers is not taken into account when calculating the living area, because the volume of the space underneath does not fill the dormer, as Revit passes the roof through the dormer. Dormer created as: "Architecture>Opening>Dormers".

Has anyone found a solution for this problem?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Use Vertical Cut Opening instead of Dormer.

Hello Cristina, you could try to place the room once again. But not on the level "floor". Try to place it from above (highest point of the room) and then downwards. In general a room can not "jump back"  when it once has been constricted. Hope this works, have a nice day.
