Revit to Navisworks - Imported DWG changes location

When I export my Revit file into Navisworks some of the information moves far away from the rest of my model. I've taken some screenshots to help describe this:

Screenshot 1
Here I have a family with an imported DWG, and a placeholder cube drawn in Revit.

Screenshot 2
I have placed my family into the Revit project in my desired location, then drawn a second placeholder cube over the first. I now have 2 placeholder cubes in the same location, one in the family and one in the project.

Screenshot 3
After exporting to Navisworks NWC both placeholder cubes remain in the same location but the DWG information from the family has moved.

Any help would be appriciated, looking for a resolution or workaround in order to get the model lined up in navisworks.

I've posted them on tinypic, if they don't show up when youre there (they dont for me) just press ''zoom'' on the left.

Are you importing the RVT directly into Navisworks? If so, I would try exporting a 3D view of the RVT to NWC format (you can use the Navisworks NWC Export Utility). Exporting a 3D view from Revit also gives you more control over WHAT gets exported since you can turn individual objects off prior to exporting should you need to.

Are you exporting your families out of Revit as DWG's and then appending the DWG to Navis?

when the DWG is imported into the family, use origin to origin, for it to export in the correct locatio the base offset needs to be 0.0, if you move it in the family and that value changes, the export will show it in the wrong location, if you need to move it, move it in the dwg first then import
