REVIT SWEEP CREATION ISSUE

HI I AM TRYING TO CREATE A SWEEP OR SWEPT BLEND FOR THE PATH AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE BELOW

ajay_jsJUMPC_0-1686204127901.png

THE PATH RADIUS IS 12.5 & AT AN ANGLE OF 45 DEGREE. I SKETCHED A PROFILE WITH SAME RADIUS 12.5 AS I REQUIRE AT THAT SAME RAIUS OF PATH I AM GETTING ERROR & UNABLE TO CREATE A SWEEP. TRIED USING BOTH SWEEP & SWEPT BLEND GETS THE SAME ERROR

APPRECIATE IF SOMEONE HELPS & PROVIDES A SOLUTION

I'm pretty sure that it can't create the sweep because it can't form a radius at the throat.

I changed the profile radius to 12.4 and it will work then.

IF REDUCING RADIUS WOULD WORK, THEN THE ELEMENT I USE IN PROJECT WOULB BE INACCURATE... HELP ME WITH WORKAROUND

REVITFAILS WITH ACCURACY & PRECISION FOR MODELING THE PROJECT & IN CREATION OF FAMILIES.

That's a pretty big jump based on not being able to make something that has been made many times by others.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Its not stupid software, its geometry.

You are trying to create a radius on the throat, but there can't be a radius because of the values being used.

How about 12.499999? would that small "error" be acceptable?

I dont want to create something with error since values would populate from size lookup i am unable to use those error values. Anyway thanks for reply

You are trying to create a shape that is impossible and you are blaming the program.

Brilliant!!!

Use a formula, deduct 0.000001 from the lookup table value.

Or do it a different way other than using one sweep.

This one (Wavin Osma) uses two extrusions and a revolve to get a radius on the heel but a mitre on the throat.

@Ajay_J_S

this can be done by revolve not sweep.and in revolve change the angle

I used revolve, as the screenshot shows.
