Revit Section Multirouting Glitch?

Hi, I'm trying to draw a fab duct in a section view. When i multiroute from the fabrication duct node revit trys to offset the duct to the side and force in a angled fitting. It only does this when the section is vertical within a plan view, if i rotate it 90*, it works fine. I've tried all far clip options, checked height is correct and i can't see any reason why it would do this. I've spoken to a another user who says it a glitch that he's experienced before on a previous edition, has anyone experienced this and found a method to fix / workaround it?

I've attached an image showing what happens.
