Hello

is there an option/plugin for Revit that restrict the cursor to specific snapping distance?

similar to this in AutoCad

I tried to adjust the length dimension snap increments in Revit but it still does not restrict the cursor to specifically 300 increments

The length snap is for length-based dimensions. This can be used while modeling a wall for example. The increments will change as you zoom in or out in the view. You can change the increments to your requirements, but you have to separate each increment by using semicolons.

I have already tried this but what I want is that I want it to be hard locked to those snap increments like for example it will only allow me to draw the wall at increments of 300 so (300, 600, 900, 1200 etc....) but this option you showed lets it slightly snap at that increment but it still goes over any other dimensions in between

You could drop this on your view if need be. This is fully parametric detail item by type properties. That could be adjusted to instance if you desired.

See below how you can snap walls to 300, 600, 900, 1200 at the intersections

this was originally a tool for aligning single line diagrams similar to a grid in AutoCAD.

BE ADVISED: arrays are computationally intensive within Revit. If you make a huge array, it will likely slow things down.
