Revit not working properly

Hi all,

I am working for this company where Revit on my laptop has sorts of issues.

I've been flagging them constantly and no resolve. I thought I should ask here.

Laptop's specs are:

Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H (2.60 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.6 GB usable)
Storage 1 TB

Graphics Card NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada

DirectX 12 installed

All drivers updated.

At first I had the error "Video Card Drive Error". Than I learned to close Autocad and Bluebeam while working in Revit. It is still very slow. Sometimes it happens that revit moves from one monitor to another while opening or when it has a command. Sometimes when I click in a view, it frozes for quite 30sec to 1 min.

Just a few examples.

Revit models are on OneDrive and we use WiFI :/, but the models are not very big, small apartment buildings GF+1 or 2 Levels, at the most 9 apartments.

We link architectural, structural and electrical. We set up 2 models, 1 for Mechanical and 1 for Electrical.

Where should we start to fix the problem?

Thanks.

Use a proper desktop, use fast Ethernet and an internal server or fast NAS. I don't know if there is an actual Revit problem. But first remove all the bottlenecks on your side.

Revit Version: R2026.4
Hardware: i9 14900K, 64GB, Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada 16GB
Add-ins: ElumTools; Ripple-HVAC; ElectroBIM; Qbitec
