Hey Hive Mind.
I have inherited a model to work on for a project. however, when opening the file, the model displays as such. I have reset all line weights where I can find them to 1, and still no change.
Can anyone offer a solution to the issue? Thank you.

What do you mean by "reset all lineweights"?
Please screenshot your view settings.
Also check what the actual penwidths are set to for each line weight "pen" number at the relevant view scale in Manage > Additional Settings > Line Weights.

What is the view scale set to?
on a side note, you can probably sell that as an interpretative art piece 🤣....

Problem is only solved if you intend to plot at 1:1 - i.e. plot the drawings at the same size as the actual building!
You need to go into that settings table that I posted and check what actual pen width is associated with each line weight arbitrary number at each scale because that is what will plot on paper or PDF.

Hi iainsavage
So those settings are exactly as you posted in this model, so it had to be something else displaying the issue I just didn't know what it was that was causing the bubble look.
I tampered with everything lineweights, graphics, visuals - scale is what reset it to what I needed to be able to see what on earth I was working on!

Then use the Thin Lines display option (TL shortcut).
It switches off the lineweights on screen.
It is only a screen effect for use when working in the model, it does not affect how lineweights plot.
