Revit Keeps Losing Save Path for Linked Model

I have been working on this project for awhile now, and never had a problem with the linked models showing up in my model. For some reason last week now it keeps losing the saved path for the architectural model. So, every time I open it up I have to go into manage links and reload the arch model from where it's saved at on my computer. I keeps thinking that it's saved in someone's Dropbox folder on their computer.

Revit lives in the land of perfect and doesn't understand what construction is.

If you have write privileges for the architectural link as in the model is shared with you to use as a background, open it using "detach from central" and make sure all steps were followed for linking into your model. Resave it, making sure to make it a central model.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
