REVIT FILTER HELP

Hi all, need some expert advice.

I've modelled simple HVAC ducts and simply created a "Systems" filter specifically for HVAC items.

But when i go into visual graphics and turn off the tick box the model still shows.

I've created a "Systems" shared parameter > created HVAC filter > selected the relevant categories i.e ducts, air terminals etc. > used a rule AND/System/EQUALS/HVAC.

Ive highlighted all components in the model and assigned them to HVAC under my System properties.

Gone back into VG unselected my HVAC filter and NOTHING ! the model is still in the workspace

Expertise appreciated ! Many thanks all

In order for the "System" to drive the filter it needs to be associated to all elements. Now you have created a shared parameter for system however it may be easier just to use the "Out of the box" Revit System Parameter -> System Type which gets assigned automatically to all elements connected to it. You just change the filter conditions to refer to "System Type" instead.

You DO NOT NEED to include "duct systems" in your categories.
