Revit Family based on Tray Center line

Hello All,

I am looking for a way to create a family based on the cable tray center line. I want to develop a family that can be hosted or associated with the cable tray center line. The key requirement is that if the cable tray size is changed, the family should remain constrained to the tray center line.

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK it is not possible.

I think I have to try it with dynamo if it is impossible.
