One way to do it which could impact other jobs is to use a tool like Revit lookup to snoop what GUID was used in the Revit model.  Then go to the database and type in that GUID.  This will then allow you to reload the configuration.  Here is the link to Revit Lookup: https://github.com/jeremytammik/RevitLookup.  Let me know if you need help navigating through the tool to find the GUID.  Hope this helps.

If you have no Fabrication Parts in your model you can use the Purge tool to remove the service and reload the correct one. This worked for me when our IT contractor upgraded our server causing the GUID to disappear on a regular basis.

Also, if you have save points on your system you can restore the database to a time before you wiped the GUID, make a copy of it and open it up to find the GUID before simply pasting it in the current database.

If either of those options are no good to you then I hope you didn't actually need to add or modify any services in that project.

Good luck.

We have encountered the same thing with other clients. The Fabrication Configuration (Not Available)

I referred to my Go To Fabguru David Ronson. He blogged about this GUID getting changed for some reason and needs to be recovered and changed back inorder to recover the Fabricaiton configuration in Revit. Check out his video on the script and fix.

Search Youtube for the title below:
