Revit Elevation - CAD - Trimble Field Points

If every x.y coordinate has a z coordinate associated with it, would it be possible for Revit to somehow include elevation information when exporting to CAD MEP? I get autocad drawings from the revit department so I can put Trimble field points on it for site layout. It would speed up the layout process in the field if when I create a point somewhere on the drawing, the software knows the elevation based on the x,y coordinates.

I know I could add it manually but that would take way too long for amount of points I create.

Thanks!

Your post is quite confusing. You posted in the Revit forum. Your working in AutoCAD. I'm not sure how you are determining the Z value from just the X and Y.

Where is the elevation information coming from, you or the MEP model?

Are you saying that you need the 3D model from Revit and you are only getting it in 2D?

Is there any site information in the MEP model?

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I posted in the Revit forum because as I mentioned, I get autocad drawings exported from the Revit model.

I'm wondering if it's possible for that export to include elevation.

So when I add a trimble point to the drawing, that point automatically includes the elevation (brought over from revit).
