REVIT 2025 mep fabrication parts grayed out and can't insert on the project

Hi everyone, I am using revit 2025 and loaded the "Fabrication Imperial 4.02" as fabrication configuration database.

How can I insert these fabrication parts I loaded on the service "ADSK - Plumbing (DMW): Waste" and able to use it inside my project. It is grayed out and has pop up message "This content is not currently supported". I am converting the modeled revit generic families into fabrication type.

Please see image for reference.

If the content is not currently supported then you usually just have to stick with using Revit families rather than fabrication parts.

Thanks for the response. I agree that using Revit families would be more convenient, but there isn’t a family available for the specific fixture I need unless I create one from scratch, which is a bit of a hassle. Also, I’m trying to keep everything consistent by using fabrication parts throughout the model instead of mixing them with Revit families. Just wondering if there might be any steps I’m missing that would make these fabrication items “supported” and usable in the project? Maybe something in the fabrication configuration or setup that I overlooked?
