Revit 2024.2 - Issue with Modification of Space Type Settings

  • I'm unable to make edits to any editable value in a given space type.
    • By being unable to make edits, I mean that once I fill the fields and click 'Ok', none of the values remain updated. All edits default back to pre-edited values.
    • If I specifically attempt to edit the Outdoor Air Per Person field, I get the 'Enter a value or formula starting with "=".' error. This occurs regardless of whether I enter solely a number (0), or a number with a unit (0 CFM). If I attempt to provide =0, I still get the error. If I attempt to provide =0 CFM, it considers the 0 CFM a string and similarly does not work.
  • I am able to create a New Space, however:
    • I am unable to modify the New Space's editable values from the default values (0 for any unitary values, ??? for schedules)

Am I missing something obvious?

This sounds like a bug and similar to recent similar posts about air terminals which can't be edited. It would probably be sorted by an update (current version is 2024.3.1

Version update did not rectify the issue.

Out of curiosity I did a fresh install + OOTB template to try and see if it could be a schema issue or something legacy from the company template. Issue persists.

I was curious if maybe the parameters weren't pointing correctly, but this would suggest it's still intact....

Also attempted the solution in this thread that was posted today, no luck with that either.

Followup:

2024.3.1 build did fix the problem.

Units

Fixed an issue in which for some models, duplicate unit symbols were shown for some units in the Project Units dialog and parameter values that used the duplicate units could not be modified.
