Revit 2016: Liberaries

Hi Folks,

I have revit 2016 (student version). due to some reason my "libraries" does not have "US Metric & US Imperial" libraries in it. i have only Canada library in my revit. so i borrowed the US libraries from a friend. he had Revit 2017. now when I want to load family it would not load and prompts that since the Library was saved in a new version. it can not be opened in my 2015 version

Hi @nkhan114,

There is no way 2017 library will open in the earlier versions of Revit.

To get the US libraries follow the following steps:

1. From the Control Panel, select "Programs and Features."
2. Select the Autodesk Revit Content Libraries 2016 .
3. Choose "Uninstall/Change."
4. Once the install wizard launches, select "Add/Remove Features."

5. In the dialog, select the libraries you wish to install, then click "Next."

6.Finish.
