Revit 2014 crashes when open a new file

Revit 2014 crashes when open or save a revit file.

try doing a repair on revit

then a reinstall if that doesn't work

then a remove/reinstall if that doesn't work

lastly, a clean uninstall/reinstall if that doesn't work.
