Recessed object intersection with beam/column

Hey there,

maybe I am trying to get it too comfy for myself but I'll give it a try. Imagine that a recessed object intersects with a beam - is there a way to make these kind of spots ''more visible'' so that it attracts my attention? You can see the picture below where an object intersects with a beam. The thing is that in large projects there are a lot of recessed objects (in electrical design) and more than often the construction designers adjust the location of their beams which results in double checking my object locations one by one.

If this is possible - is there a major difference whether the linked construction file is a simple 2D DWG file or Revit file?

Revit's interference check will list clashes but can't visualize them. Navisworks can mark those locations for you.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

If it is 3D geometry then Revit’s clash detection should find the clash if you have activated the relevant categories before generating a report.
If it is 2D CAD then that would not be detected.
