REALLY SLOW REVIT TEXT PARAMETERS

Hello, is anyone else experiencing times when Revit is extremely slow in processing text parameters? It should be the easiest thing for Revit to do but at times it seems like it struggles real hard. We are using Revit 2019.2 in a Workshared environment, with all of us on our own VM. If anyone has any ideas why this could be happening, please do advise! Thanks so much!

Does this happen to all users using these VMs?

-See if there are updates (Revit, Graphics Card Drivers, Windows).

-Other software running that might interfere?

-Try to (de)select some of the performance settings under options (Graphics and Hardware tab) and see if that changes things. 

-Remove Revit Add-ins to see if that helps

open up your task manager and look at what other processes are running. also, when you in the task manager, check the performance monitor and look at your Internet, Memory, CPU, processing when this is happening.
