Question about adding family parameters to schedules.

Pretty new to Revit, so far so good, learning lots about the program.

When creating a schedule for some cable tray I was curious how to add family parameters to the schedule.

For instance, in the attached image, I have a vertical 45 degree elbow, I would love that angle to show up in the schedule but I have no clue how to go about this. Any advice?

Add a shared parameter in your template file/project related to this angle (name it something intuitive).

Add the shared parameter to your equipment schedule.

Add the same shared parameter to the family file, and use a formula to set it equal to the angle parameter that already exists in the family. Load it back into the project.
