Hi,

I have an issue with pipe fittings, im working with decimal pipe diameters, Copper ASTM B280

When i try to model a pipe, sometimes if i create a fitting Revit create automatically a reducer despite on is the same pipe diameter.

Any ideas?

You might want to check that the inner diameters and the outer diameters are the same. If that does not work it might be the connection point on your fittings is in the wrong spot.

Thanks,

I checked them and it seems that when i change the diameter of a pipe, revit automatically put the same inside and outside diameter of a pipe size despite on the segments its like that.. why is that?

I think its because Revit will default to the standard size that can be manufactured.

Make sure your elbows connector is inline with the center of the fitting. It could be making the reducer because there is an offset
