Plan View Issues

Hi Guys,

I have a problem.  I'm working on a project where I am updating the original project model (by others long gone) to reflect As-Installed.

Please see attached.  The 3D clip shows the plant model correctly with all the right pipe colours and architecture.

When I do a plan though, I either lose the architect's background or, get the background but pipe colours change, depending on the Discipline selected.  I did a clip with the discipline set to coordination but that looks the same as when it's set to architecture.  

Basically I want a plan with the right colours and the architects background.

The architect's model is the only one linked.

I have tried all sort of things but just can't work it out.

In a structural discipline view non-structural walls are hidden - so Architectural walls won’t appear.

Your views are set to shaded (I think) and are therefore affected by lighting effects.

Try setting them to consistent colours instead and you’ll get more vibrant colours without shading.

How are you mate, it's been a while since I've had to get support 🙂

I usually use Realist and on my own models, that works well for me.

This one has been setup by someone else so all sorts of stange things are happening.

Any, I changed to the Consistant Colours and, it worked.

Then I noticed that all of the other plans, sections etc were set to Consistant Colours, I should have spotted that.

Did you check the Phase mapping of the link?

and did you checked the Halfton and Underlay settings in your 3D View?
