Plan regions not working

Hi I am having trouble with plan regions. I have this odd wall at a certain point above my cut plan in my view range that I want to show on the same plan. So i tried to use a plan region and set the cut plane to that elevation where it should cut this wall which is in an arch linked model.However it does not show up. It should be right here where my red fire damper is. Can anyone suggest what might be going wrong? Thanks! See attached.

Is there a reason you can't just adjust the cut plane upward in the entire view?

Are you sure it's not being obscured by the ceiling?

Is it on a different workset/phase than the rest of the architecture?

Do you have some sort of filter applied?

Did you try the "show hidden elements" option?

Did you adjust the upper limit of the view range accordingly?

Something that gets us rather frequently is if we are using a workset named identically to one in the Arch model, and ours is toggled off in the view, the Arch workset will also be toggled off. We may not even have known it existed.

No its not obsured by the ceiling. there is no ceiling. Its in a suspended space above the space. It has a floor and everything. I checked everything else you suggested but no dice. I did notice that the suspended wall's bottom is attached to a floor which is on a level that doesnt exist in our model. and its top is attached to a level that does exist in our model but is named differently. Would that play a roll? How about if I dont crop the entire wall into the plan region, would that play a role of any kind? Idk kind of frustrated this plan region thing isnt working. I appreciate your suggestions though!

I'm happy to help find out why this is happening or if this is a known issue.

Which version and build of Revit MEP are you using? 

Have you determined that this only happens when the plan region is involved?

If you edit the plan region, are there only 4 segments (sketch lines)

If you detach the wall, does it then show in the view?

Underlay setting in the view may also be at play here.

Sometimes we have this error when there are two plan views in the same place, try to check.

As far as I can tell there are no other plan views in this one, like an RCP or anything. It is however a view that is dependent on another view. Will that cause it?

I am using Revit 2015 update release 14. There are no underlay elements in my view. See attached. I cant detach the wall because it is in a linked model. Yes, there are only 4 segments in the plan region boundary. However it appears to be malfuctioning even if I try to change the entire view range for the plan, not just the plan region isnt working....any ideas?

Hi,  Is the bottom of the wall above the cut plane of the view?

Can you post a screenshot of the wall properties and the view range properties of the view you're having trouble with?

This duct elevation is 13'6" so the bottom of the wall should be at about 13'-0". as you can see my cutplane is at 13'-2" so no, the bottom of my wall is not above my cutplane.
