Pipe Routing Issue

Hi all, I've encountered issues where the pipe will turn out to be slanted whenever i try to route it with pipe fittings such as gusseted bends and eccentric taper. But it is completely fine with other fittings routing. I've attached my families for your perusal. Please advice on how to solve this issue. Thank you!routing.JPGpipe.JPGtaper.JPGCapture.JPG

are you using Sloped Pipe, is that deviation within the Pipe Connector Tolerance set in the Pipe Settings?

Hello,

To use eccentric reductions, you need to adjust the Justification, in you case bottom, to get the proper results.

Is very important to draw only in the plan view in this case.

No, I just route the pipe horizontally with slope off settings but it still turns out to be sloped after routing it.

When creating a family make sure that one point is on the true reference plane, otherwise it will cause this. For elbows it is best to make the base point where the centerlines meet on the heel.

The fittings in this post are not properly aligned to the main planes so the connectors don't align with the pipe axes, hence the misalignment of pipes connected to them.

I don't think this post is the best example of how to use eccentric reducers if that's your quest.
