Pipe elbow angles greater than 90° returns Problems because of Routing Options

I have created a Pipe elbow Family with connectors for a sewage system pipe. The Family is is categorized as a Pipe Fitting and the Connectors each have an Angle of 135 °. When using the Family in my Project I can only create a pipe from one of the Connectors. When creating a second Pipe from the other connector I immediatly get an Alert which stats that It cant be done beacuse of the Routing Options. Then I changed the generel Angle Options unter MEP Settings from fixed to unfixed. I also added the Family to the Routing Options of the System-Pipe-Typ-Fittings were  pipe elbows are usually added. Doesnt the hardcore programmed Revit Routing-tool support pipe Elbows larger than 90 ° ?? The 135 ° Elbow does exist and saves more space than a 45 °+ 90 ° Fitting solution.

Here you are. It dosnt behave like it should and sometimes when I connect it to another Pipe Fitting it suddently changes the defined connector-Angle. Still Im not able to make both Pipes start at connectors from this Family. One pipe starts at connector 1 while another Ends at connector 2.

I don't have a solution for your problem because we would never use a "crazy" fitting like that.... but, I gotta ask:  Is this sewer system a gravity system? Or pumped? If it's pumped, how do you keep the fitting from blowing apart with such a tight angle?

The Pipe Fitting supports a plumbing System (sorry for using the therm "Sewage System" in the other Posts) which is gravity based. Its purpose is to cancel out large Under- and Over-Pressures which are build up in long down pipes. So actually ist a part of a pressure elimination support System for the plumbing System. Only air will be running through this pipe Fitting and the direction, the speed and the pressure of the air is determined naturally through the pressure differences in the down pipe due to the plumbing Water falling at different hights with different speeds and with different water amounts inside the down pipe. See the attached picture for a better understanding.

Ah, cool. Thanks for the explanation. Yeah, it being part of a plumbing system makes its purpose alot clearer, and with only air flowing through the fitting makes sense.

I believe that in this situation, you will have to create a specific fitting and place it manually.
