Path of Travel (for new equipment?)

Revit has somewhat recently added the "path of travel" function to their software. I'm working on a boiler plant project where we need to install a new, large deaerator and the client is questioning whether we can get it installed without moving to a custom solution -- Do any of you know if this function or some other function can be manipulated to show path of travel for a new piece of equipment. Perhaps there's different animation function (Navisworks is a no go for me)? It would be ideal to show this to our client and reduce concern. Thanks.

that is not what path of travel is for.... Path of Travel is mainly for Egress. 

i did something like this before for getting a piece of equipment into a underground shaft. basically i did it manually. i modeled the equipment and clearances and did a stage by stage screen shots of moving it thru to the location.
