Nested Detail Items - Not Appearing properly

In the past month, on various Revit 2018 & Revit 2019 projects, we have had our light fixture families and lighting device families start behaving oddly.

In the same view, we will get some that show the nested filled region for emergency designation and some that just show an empty circle on our floor plans. However, in RCP views all of them show properly.

Similarly with our lighting devices, the labels will show in RCP view but no longer show in Floor plans.

It is really odd, because in other Revit 2019 and 2018 projects, the families behave correctly.

Any thoughts?

Attached is sample view of the lighting fixture issue.

Some questions

-Does this happen on all computers or just one?
-Is it everytime the same ones that are tranparent when opening the project/view or does it seem random?
-Could it be related to view range (different elevations)

Possibly try to delete the view and make a new view of the same area ansd see what happens. Sometimes it seems that a view becoemes corrupt.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

  1. Happens on all computers that access the project.
  2. Did delete the view and try again. It didn't correct it.
  3. We tried various view ranges and it didn't correct itself.
  4. It seems to have settled on the one family(however others of the same family different type behave properly). I can also force a fix of finding a type that works. Copying it and then changing to the other type that doesn't always work.  It isn't the same family in every project, but all the families have the same setup of a nested detail item.

I would also check line styles or fill patters - look for some corelated settings.

All line styles and fill patterns are what they are expected to be.

All standard settings have been confirmed - object styles, materials, etc.
