Miter Corners Help

I have 2x2 angle that I created as an extrusion. Is there a way for me to miter the corners of the angle?

Do you mean to miter the corner between two perpendicular angles? If they
are structural framing then you can use structural miter tool.

I've attached a picture of what I am trying to do. I have this angle drawn as a family and I need to connect the corners and show it was mitered. I drew the angle as an extrusion.

Use a sweep with a rectangular path instead of using extrusions.
