MEP tags disappear after the left mouse click to position them.

Hi,

While hovering over an element I want to place a tag against, loaded and applicable tag is visible but after left mouse click to position that tag it vanishes. Effect is that tag hasn’t materialised at the end of the process.

This is only happening on Revit 2015 UR8 & UR7 machines, other machines with no service update or with service UR2 only can tag elements like before. There is nothing within the views which is controlling the visibility of tags, since other old tags are visible and still there.

Did anyone notice this in their 2015 models?

Thanks

Hi Jovan

Have you logged and issue with support on this?  Is this happening on all projects?  Could you share a sample project with me where i could reproduce the issue? Does the tag appear if you print?

Thanks!

Hi Nick,

Thank you for your interest, I still haven’t been able to find the reason behind this issue, I will send this model to you and if you have Revit 2015 with UR7 or UR8, see if you can tag electrical trays with the tag we are using and it is visible when populated with another Revit machine.

The tag doesn’t appear after printing, it is simply not there after the position mouse click.

Hello Jovan,

I have read the description of your problem and researched about it, and I would like to try to reproduce it too.

Right now I don't have access to Dropbox, but you can attach it to the case that was created for you.

Meanwhile, a Screencast or short video would also be helpful.

Best Regards,

Thanks for working through this with me Jovan, looks like removing the problematic add-on did the trick.

Thanks for your time!

Nick,

thanks again, MagiCAD Tag Tool override was ticked on, and thus disabling all non MagiCAD tags.
